Prerequisites#

Before installing Harang Immich, make sure you have:

  • Obsidian 1.13.4 or later, on desktop or mobile. Harang Immich uses Obsidian’s built-in requestUrl API and SecretStorage API, both of which require this minimum version.

  • A running Immich server that your Obsidian device can reach over the network (self-hosted or otherwise).

  • An Immich API key. In Immich, open your account settings and go to API Keys, then create a new key. You will paste this key into the plugin’s settings during setup.

Note

Harang Immich never shares an Immich album publicly to embed images. It talks to your Immich server directly using the API key you provide, so no album needs to be made public or link-shared for the plugin to work.
